In our graphic novel "A.W.O.L." life on the Frontera has never been easy. It’s getting harder. How can you make the “right” decision when that’s not an option? We all have knuckleheads in our families and this makes life that much more complicated. Cruz has two days to ship out and possibly less to save her brother. The question is where does her allegiance lie. It’s easy to think of life as black and white, good and bad, justice and criminal. But what about family versus country? Cruz has a hard choice to make with little time to do it.
